Dr. David Malitz, MD- Cataract, Cornea, & Refractive Surgeon

Dr. Malitz was born in Chicago and grew up in the Detroit area.  He graduated in the top 3% of his class with highest distinction from one of the top ranked universities in the country, the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology-Zoology.  He was one of only several non-California residents accepted at the prestigious UCLA School of Medicine where he graduated near the top of his class. He studied Internal Medicine in preparation for his residency at the University of Illinois Eye And Ear Infirmary in Chicago. He is board certified and has been in private practice for over 10 years and is the Medical Director of the Southwest Eye Institute. He is married to a talented woman, Michele, and has two lovely daughters, Natalie and Erica and a son, Marc.

Dr. Surjeet Singh, MD- Comprehensive Ophthalmologist, Cornea, & Refractive Surgery Fellow

Dr. Singh is a board eligible eye surgeon undergoing a comprehensive fellowship training. 
Dr. Singh was born and raised in California and completed his undergraduate education at UC Irvine, where graduated with a B.S. in Biological Science.  He completed  his medical school at The Chicago Medical School.  After finishing an internship at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons in New York City, he completed a residency in Ophthalmology at the Martin Luther King/ Drew Medical Center and State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center.

Dr. Singh is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery (ASCRS).  His scientific research has been presented at several national ophthalmology meetings.  He has a history of serving his community through volunteer work. He looks forward to providing the highest quality medical and surgical eye care to his patients in Las Vegas.
