  • Medications to Avoid Before Surgery
    The medications in this list either contain aspirin or have similar blood thinning qualities. Do not take these medications two weeks prior to, or one week after your surgery. These medications inhibit coagulation and can cause excessive bleeding during your surgery. The list does not contain every aspirin-like product, though we attempt  to list the most common. Please notify the doctor if you take any medication for pain, arthritis or pre-menstrual cramps.
