Buzard Eye Institute Web Page A source of information for the patient and physician 06\15\98 -- The usefulness of a source of ready information concerning eye care and reference materials generated at the Buzard Eye Institute has prompted us to provide these services on the world wide web. As a comprehensive source, we hope to have ongoing case study presentations, outcome analysis drawn from our patients and to provide abstracts and full text copies of papers and other printed material published by us in the ophthalmic literature. While the site is continually under construction, we will offer a large library of eye photographs, topographies and case histories of illustrative cases. For the patient and physician alike this should stimulate interest and hopefully provide the impetus for better patient care and thought concerning our eye care needs. In addition to scholarly work generated at our institution, we plan to offer a complete selection of patient brochures and information, hopefully presented in more depth and with more illustrations than commonly found in brochures. Special problems, particularly with regards to common eye emergencies and postoperative care will be presented with hyperlinks to give more complete coverage to the specific problem.
